“A table with a view” takes on new dimensions: Dinner in the Sky isn’t just a window table in the restaurant on the nth floor of your city’s tallest building. In fact, there is no restaurant. In fact, there is no building! You and 21 of your closest friends, and other culinary daredevils, strap into a chair that would feel at home on a roller coaster. Then, you, the table, the servers, and even the chef, are hoisted 50 meters into the sky: by crane!
Their web site (dinnerinthesky.com) tells us that, Dinner in the Sky is a unique event meant for anyone who wishes to transform an ordinary meal or meeting into a magical moment that will leave a lasting impression on their guests! Guess that’s right.
Additional cranes with their own platforms can join you with a pianist, a band (smallish), or I suppose, a sales pitch. You are, it seems, a captive audience.
Certainly not for everyone, but Dinner in the Sky (sorry, I have to do it) takes dining to new heights.
